GET A GIFT PROMOTION
A ST. JAMES woman is among the first winners in the Duty Free Caribbean Group's 2004 'Get a Gift' promotion. She is Marjorie Gill of Highpark, who received $3,000 in gift certificates from Cave Shepherd, Broad Street.
Anna Bryan of the Pine, St. Michael, won a pair of Waterford candleholders from Harrisons, Hastings and Susie Alleyne of Checker Hall, St. Lucy collected a voucher for a His and Her spa treatment at Escape.
The stores of the Duty Free Caribbean Group, Cave Shepherd, Harrisons, Colombian Emeralds International, Pages Bookstores and Total Sport, believe that because sometimes it is better to receive than to give, you get the gift; therefore every week they are giving away six prizes in their 'Get a Gift' promotion.
Customers are encouraged to shop early for Christmas and receive an entry form with purchases over a certain amount. In addition to the main weekly prize of gift certificates, they are also eligible to win spa treatments, jewellery, and lots more prizes.
Other winners for last week were Ajai Sukhram of Maxwell, Christ Church, who got His and Hers Puma Mostros from Total Sport, Sheraton; Monica Kellman of Bagatelle, St. James with a Gucci watch from Harrisons, Nicholas House, and Ann Murphy of Hindsbury Road, St. Michael with a Nation newspaper subscription for one year and two Cross pen sets from Pages bookstore, JB's Supercenter supermarket.
All Duty Free Caribbean holdings, with the exception of Colombian Emeralds on Broad Street, are involved in the 'Get a Gift' competition, which began on November 8, and runs until December 23.
