HARRISON COLLEGE WINS SCHOOL PRIZE IN CAVE SHEPHERD'S BACK TO SCHOOL PROMOTION

HARRISON College has won the top school prize in Cave Shepherd's Back To School competition, which ended recently at the Department store.

Kim Tatem, Duty Free Caribbean's event planner explained that the top prize went to Harrison College for having the most customer entries in the competition for merchandise bought for students of the school.

"We also had three individual winners: Juan Walcott and Carol-Ann Headley won Apple IPod Shuffles for purchase made on behalf of their children who attend Ellerton Primary and St. Jude's Primary respectively, and Susan Taitt won a Toshiba Laptop for shopping for her son who goes to Wesley Hall Primary."

Tatem noted that each year Cave Shepherd and Grand Collection tried to give back to the community, in particular to schools, which patronize the retail outlet during the holidays and this year was no exception.

"Quite a number of schools are faithful patrons of Cave Shepherd in that they direct the students here as they know that we carry the uniforms to their specifications along with the other school necessities. So when parents shop here for their children, they know that they are getting quality and their children are well outfitted for the year," she said.

Madhuri Vaswani of Grand Collection said: "We are delighted to partner with Duty Free Caribbean once again, in rewarding customers for their continuing patronage of Grand Collection and Miss Grand Collection school uniforms and Mega flasks, during the recent Back to School season."

The competition was open to shoppers purchasing $100 or more in Grand Collection or Miss Grand Collection merchandise, or $30 on selected Mega flasks.

Meanwhile, ten-year-old Tia Griffith walked away with a spanking new laptop in another Back to School competition with Total Sport at Cave Shepherd, where customers had to purchase a pair of K-Swiss shoes for a chance to win the computer. Both Griffith and mom, Linda Freeman were delighted with their good fortune.
