CAVE SHEPHERD'S BRIDAL SHOWCASE GIVES VALUABLE TIPS ON WEDDING PLANNING

CAVE SHEPHERD's recently ended Bridal Showcase was a hit with Barbadians, particularly the planning booklets distributed.

Manager of the Bridal Registry at Cave Shepherd, Angie Gittens noted that the booklets are usually distributed to couples who rgister at Cave Shepherd to assist them with the various planning stages of their weddings: "We decided to use the booklets at the Showcase and the response was phenomenal as each person attending ensured they got their hands on one."

Events coordinator with DutyFree Caribbean, Kim Tatem, stated that the two-week showcase was intended to give brides-to-be ideas for their special day and featured everything from gowns, to wedding cakes, vacation package options and event consultants.

"We could hardly believe the number of persons that came in to register and it was great to be able to advise them on what is available here at Cave Shepherd and show them that all their needs could be met by signing up with our Bridal & Gift Registry," said Tatem.

She further noted that the showcase was larger than the previous one mounted in April at the store, with more services being offered: "The idea behind our showcase was to demonstrate to the couples thinking of getting married or already planning their wedding that Cave Shepherd is a one-stop shop for everything they will need for their wedding day and beyond."
