CAVE SHEPHERD RECOGNISES CARIBBEAN WELLNESS DAY

CAVE SHEPHERD will become a hive of activity this Saturday, September 13, when it recognises and joins in the celebration of Caribbean Wellness Day.

According to Tracey Lloyd, regional director of marketing with Duty Free Caribbean, when the Broad Street branch opens at 8 a.m., there will be a 10 per cent slash on prices in departments which promote healthy living and lifestyles, along with a major fitness display on the Ground Floor at 9 a.m.

"We will be giving discounts on the Seven Seas brand in the Toiletries Department, as well as on all the stock in the Total Sports and The Beach departments. We will also be offering a ten per cent discount on fitness and health-related books in Pages Bookstore," she explained.

These specials will continue until 2 p.m., an hour beyond the end of activities on Broad Street, where only pedestrians will be allowed until 1 p.m.

"We recognise that Broad Street will be an incredible hub of activity on Saturday, with the entire street being turned into a health zone, and we wanted, as much as possible, to bring that activity to our customers with the special discounts and in-store activities.

"We also identify with the message that this Caribbean day is intended to spread across Barbados and believe this is a worthwhile cause which fits perfectly with the health-awareness we try to create at Cave Shepherd," Lloyd added.
