CAVE SHEPHERD WINNER CRUISES THE CARIBBEAN

CAROL WEEKES received the surprise of her life when she returned home from a trip overseas only to discover that she would soon be travelling again.

Her boyfriend, Clifford Corbin of Kendall St. John, took her along with him on a seven-day cruise aboard the Ocean Village cruise liner. Corbin, a Cave Shepherd cardholder, won the cruise during the store's cardholder renewal programme last year.

The couple said they thoroughly enjoyed the informal Caribbean cruise which saw them making stops in Tortola, Antigua, Dominica, Trinidad and Mayreau. Corbin said, "I really enjoyed it. Being new to cruising we got to meet new people, and learn different cultures thanks to Cave Shepherd. It was a real eye-opener and I'm ready to go again."

The Ocean Village advertises itself as 'not the usual cruise but a different sort of holiday', offering passengers an informal and easy-going atmosphere where they can explore new places without the formality of traditional cruises.

Corbin's luck was the result of Cave Shepherd's photo card re-issue programme, which began last November. His name was randomly selected by computer from among those customers who responded early to the program.
