GRENADIAN WINS Colombian Emeralds Manager of the Year

Chris Edwards has been presented the Colombian Emeralds' Manager of the year award for 2005. Mr. Edwards topped the list for this award from other Managers from all over the Islands. He joined Colombian Emeralds International in 1997 as Store Manager of our Airport Store location. After hurricane Ivan struck, the Colombian stores were temporarily closed on the Carenage and also at the Pointe Salines International Airport. Chris was not going to sit idle in Grenada. He accepted an offer to manage the Colombian Emeralds store on board the Norwegian Cruise Lines.

Mr. Edwards was so successful during his tenure on the ship, that he was relied upon to open and Manage the Colombian Emeralds stores on three new Norwegian Cruise ships. During that period, Chris traveled to many new Countries and developed new experiences along the way.

When the Colombian Store reopened at the new Esplanade Mall, there was no hesitation to make Mr. Edwards the store manager. According to Island Manager, Rosemary Deligny, we are thrilled about Chris' achievement. Chris leads by example; motivates and inspires his team and most of all enjoys celebrating with his customers. Providing Customer Service that is above and beyond the customers expectations is the key to his success.
