THANK YOU PAGES FOR ERIC JEROME DICKEY

SCORES of Barbadian women and some men flocked to Pages Bookstores recently to catch a glimpse of best selling novelist Eric Jerome Dickey, commonly known as EJD, as he spent time chatting with fans, autographing books and reading excerpts form his new book, 'Genevieve'.

Keri-Ann Millar, Veronica Reece, Alexis Atwell and Sandra Browne were the envy of many when they lunched with the author, at Turtle Beach Resort. The lunch was a result of his live appearance on Love 104.1 F.M. when fans were encouraged to call-in and answer questions about one of his previous books.

EJD was in Barbados to promote his latest novel 'Genevieve', thanks to Pages Bookstores, Turtle Beach Resort, where he stayed, and his book publishers, Penguin USA.

Millar said, "The lunch was great and I had a lot of fun. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and was the best day of my life." Browne expressed similar sentiments stating, "The lunch was fantastic and enjoyable. It was like chatting with an old friend because he is such a great man who talked about everything."

Michael Maloney, operations manager for Pages Bookstore noted, "This was a fantastic opportunity for four fans to sit down and be entertained by EJD, who never knew he had such a big fan base in Barbados. The promotion was a success and we look forward to many more great works from him,"

EJD noted that the lunch was a great opportunity to meet the four lovely women with whom he had a very thrilling time. It was his first time in Barbados and he hoped to take in all the lovely attractions and complimented the staff at Turtle Beach resort for their friendliness and helpfulness.
