DUTY FREE CARIBBEAN LAUNCHES CLARIN'S FIRST FRAGRANCE
Several women , predominantly clad in red and white, recently flocked to Harrisons in Nicholas House, Broad Street, for the launch of Clarins' first two fragrances, 'Par Amour' and 'Par Amour Toujours'.
To make the launch even more captivating, Harrisons was outfitted with a d•cor of red and white, the symbolic colours of the fragrance 'Par Amour'.
Dellia Hol1odenschi, area director for Clarins Essence Corporation, was on hand for the promotion of the fragrances which has been added to the already popular line of products for the face and body and the wide variety of make-ups offered in the Clarins selection.
Those present were well informed about the fragrance through a power-point presentation narrated by Holodenschi and treated to champagne and hors d'oeuvres throughout the two-hour launch.
Kay Wiseman, manager - local advertising and media planning at Duty Free Caribbean, said, "The launch was geared towards perfume lovers, emphasizing the quality of the new fragrance and its availability at Duty Free Caribbean's subsidiaries - Cave Shepherd and Harrisons. It also gave the women an opportunity to sample the product first-hand and be exposed to an experience that certainly delights the senses."
Some of the ladies present also received give-aways of perfumes and Karon Clement walked off with the major prize of a gift basket with $500 dollars worth of Clarins products.
"Clarins is dedicated to creating products that evoke 'love' and women use Clarins, not only because their products offer results, but because of the subtle, feminine, pleasant fragrances they develop," said Holodenschi.
"The Par Amour line was designed with this in mind; a great perfume that Clarins has dedicated to all women who love and appreciate love. For a true representation of all women, it was derived that this love cannot live alone, it has to be shared and it was this revelation that spurred the creation of 'Par Amour Toujours', a fragrance dedicated to all daughters born of women. These daughters represent the 'spirit of the youth' and are the ones who represent the future," she continued.
