TOP CHEF TO COOK IN CAVE SHEPHERD

SHOPPERS at Cave Shepherd, Broad Street, are in for a tasty experience with Dennis Newton cooking in the Housewares department every Wednesday, during July, beginning next week.

Newton will host live demonstrations between 11a.m. and 2 p.m., preparing original recipes with local flavours.

With 30 years experience in the field, his sessions will also highlight and emphasize the use of products from brands like Horwoods, Culinaire, Adis, Ken Hom, Oster, Black & Decker and Sharp kitchen appliances from Courts.

Newton is currently a tutor at the Culinary Arts at the Hospitality Institute, Pommarine Hotel, a division of the Barbados Community College (BCC). He previously owned and operated the restaurant The Plantains, was the Head Chef at Royal Pavilion and had his own television show titled an Evening with Dennis.

The promotion is collaboration between Courts Limited and Cave Shepherd.
