CAVE SHEPHERD CHRISTMAS TREATS FOR CARDHOLDERS

CAVE SHEPHERD is showing its cardholders its appreciation in a number of ways this holiday season.

The leading department store has planned a series of special treats just for them, beginning with a personal shopper service, which allows them to avoid the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping.

Cardholders need only call and make an appointment with the personal shopper, who helps them to find attire for any special occasion or a new wardrobe, household items and gifts on their Christmas list.

Another ease for cardholders at this hectic time of year is the recently released Cave Shepherd Christmas catalog, which they receive before it was released to the general public. Covering the range of departments found within the store, the catalog gives cardholders the chance to plan their shopping beforehand as it shows what is available for children and adults of all ages and the prices.

A special Sunday opening at the Broad Street branch gave Barbadians from all walks of life the opportunity to take advantage of a Cardholder Appreciation Day, which allowed them to shop early for friends and family and avoid the Christmas crowd.

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., shoppers of all ages and genders made gift selections ranging from toys to linens, clothing to perfumes and lots more. Cardholders also received a ten percent discount on all purchases as well as double entry forms for the store's 2004 'Get a Gift' Christmas competition.

As a special treat, Santa was in store to greet the little ones who accompanied parents and guardians and friends from 1 p.m. He was found in Pages, reading and distributing candy and toys.

At the end of all this activity, some lucky cardholder will win a trip with spending money to London in the summer of 2005 on Virgin Atlantic. This will result from a competition that is currently ongoing where customers making purchases of $50 and over with their Cave Shepherd card become eligible with an entry form, which is also available in the catalog.

Kay Wiseman, manager responsible for local advertising and media planning said, "We wanted to say thank you to our loyal customers and to let them know that we value them and these were some of the ideas we had."
