ALL STARS AT CAVE SHEPHERD TODAY (SATURDAY JULY 09)
CAVE Shepherd is back on board with the All Stars calypso tent for Crop Over this year and using the partnership for the benefit of its customers.
Come Saturday, Cave Shepherd's cardholders and the general public are in for a treat when the tents cast of calypsonians gather in the Broad Street store between 11a.m. and 1p.m.
The opportunity allows customers to interact with such favorite performers as the Original Duck, Adrian Clarke, Pompey, Troy Special, De Doc, Flexi and Tassa, who will be signing autographs in the various departments throughout the store.
Store manager, Hugh Durant says, "Our cardholders who want to take in the Cave Shepherd All Stars tent this weekend, have an incentive. When they show their Cave Shepherd cards at the entrance they will enjoy a discount on the cover price. This promotion is part of Cave Shepherd's ongoing contribution to the Crop Over festival."
Last Monday, the Broad Street store unveiled two show windows decorated by the Barbados Community College's (BCC) students depicting Crop Over events and featuring costume bands Baje, Power X 4, Wednesday 2000 and Refugees.
For 12 years the company has been a proud sponsor of All Stars, formerly Conquerors calypso tent and has pledged its continued support to the organization. Cave Shepherd All Stars tent will be judging on Thursday July 14 at the Plantation Restaurant from 8p.m.
